I've been trying to watch some of the shows

Here is my opinion on a few that I've seen more than once.

Entourage
I've probably seen this one the most, but it's been over a couple of years. For the most part I like the show, but the celebrity cameos become a beating very fast. Less cameos please. I think I've mostly seen reruns, but I'm not exactly sure. It's a decent time burner, but I don't really follow the show. The best thing about the show is you don't have to follow it to enjoy it when you do watch it.

Dexter
I think I've seen all the episodes this season. The first episode I saw didn't quite grab a hold of me (wife just died), but I think I've seen two more since and it's growing on me. Pretty good show thus far. His sister has no hips. She has the shape of a teenage boy. She plays a good part though.

Boardwalk Empire
I saw the first show and I thought this might be interesting, but after watching I believe the next two. I don't think it has wheels. The characters don't seem to have to much depth and just don't seem to draw me in. Unless something changes quickly, I'm going to have to pass on Boardwalk Empire.

I've seen once:

Weeds
The first one I saw told me all I needed to know about the show. STUPID. A believable setting, but completely unbelievable story. If you are going to make something have an ignorant storyline, at least make the setting ignorant too.

Love Entourage. Being as it's a show about a Hollywood A-lister, I expect alot of cameos so they don't bother me any.

Never saw Dexter (save for an episode or so) and I don't have Showtime so I cannot really speak on it

I agree with you about BE. I've been trying to watch and follow it but, honestly, I haven't found it too interesting...

Weeds...well back when I did suscribe to Showtime (when the show premiered), I found it entertaining (but like you not believeable). I saw the first episode from this season and I think they have taken the story a little too over the top...

I used to love Entourage but it's become to repetitive.

If you want to understand Dexter you have to start at the beginning.

Boardwalk hasn't grabbed me like I'd hoped. It needs time to establish itself.

As for Weeds, it's a comedy just accept it's not reality.

Boardwalk is pretty disappointing. Esp after how great the 1st episode was. I really wish they would get to the point with the Irish girl.

Hopefully they're getting away with the character development and that it will pick up soon.

Bahh I don't watch any of those. Buuuuttt the one show I am putting in effort to try to change my opinion on is Caprica. I hated Battlestar mostly because they screwed with the original story. Caprica though has more of a movie type feel to it but it is still confounding at times to get into. I hope this season it knocks out a great series of storylines.

Oh, I forgot one last one. I've seen about 4 episodes of it.

Californication
I like this show and not because it has lots of boobage. I find the show itself pretty amusing. He gets himself into a lot of awkward situations that flat out make me laugh. (the hurling on the painting was classic!) Good show.

Boardwalk Empire has been pretty damn boring, even the first episode. I held onto HBO to give it a shot, but I'll be cancelling it.

I'm gonna stop watching The Simpsons as well, not sure why I kept watching it, it's been pretty bad for years now.

The new BSG blew the original one away.

The first was cheezy and cardboard. But the second went too far in the other direction and became frankly unbelievable.

Well put,and there is a movie slated for 2012 for the remake of the original series. I am hoping that goes well, even if it is a bit contorted like the last Star Trek movie.

Dexter and Entourage rock!

You have to start at the beginning to grasp Dexter.

Trying to get into the new Hawaii Five-0 (because I loved the original), but it's taking some time.

Don't like the new Danny "Danno" Williams character/actor, and that's sort of ruining it for me. The original Danno was a trusted sidekick who would do whatever was asked. This midget (Kaan) is a cocky little guy. The McGarrett character is pretty good and so is Chin Ho. Kono as a girl ... still getting used to that, too.

Is that like when Ken Jeong busted out of the trunk of the car butt naked in The Hangover? :laugh2:
