Wanted you all to know, ive got the blue screen of death. I tried my recovery disks, (the recovery disks work but the supplemental recovery disk doesnt, and I paid $86 dollars for the recovery disks). Not to happy with He Packard right now.

I am trying to get my computer fixed, but dont know when will be. So, wanted you all to know if im not posting for awhile.

I have a friend that is going to look at it (possibly upload full version of windows 7 disk $200, but i dont know if thats all thats wrong with the computer, if will upload), but office depot said thats what I would have to do to get it operational.

Cotton picking Hewlitt Packard, i kept getting guys from India when you call. :cry3:

And you guess it, my 2006 computer was out of warranty.

I should know something by tuesday the latest, im hoping.

This is EXACTLY why we can not draft Cam Newton.

Hope you get things fixed before the draft because I really don't want us drafting Cam Newton.

2006 computer.. when was the last time you cleaned the dust out of it? Majority of blue screens are due to components overheating and a $10 can of compressed air and a lot of dust removal later you're back to normal.

Its clean, I clean it out now and then, was working fine, but I got to cute I guess. thought I would put it back to factory settings to get alittle more harddrive. I put some memory in it about 2 months ago, was working fine, but i thought i would use the recovery disk. Thats the trouble, the 2 recovery disks worked fine, but the supplemental recovery disk that puts stuff on your desktop doesnt work.

I even tried recovery disks that I had made, that still doesnt work either

Its the cotton picking supplemental recovery disk that doesnt work, says cant read disk or wrong cd, where i get part of the desktop back, but not complete and stops on blue screen waiting for recovery disk to work.

cotton pickin Hewlitt Packard  Paid $86 for those disks and they dont work, now HP guys from India says that they dont make those recovery disks anymore, too old an computer.

not going to say how, but got a new computer

im still getting my older computer fixed hopefully, still has the blue death, but was given this new computer as a present its one month old, 3 year warranty

I am rocking and rolling now with this computer, just finished downloading microsoft word, my printer, and later my dragon naturally speaking, then load up some of my old files

this computer has 1 Terabyte of HardDrive
and 4GB of memory, so i can download whatever i want
