It's preseason and it's early, but Kolb does not look like a first time starter. Don't sleep on this team. They will challenge for the NFC EAST.

Kolb is going to be a big time player. I knew it all along, definitely not excited to see him play lol.

Its the Jaguars. They are a far cry away from the NFC East defenses he'll see twice a year.

I hear you. I see an Aaron Rodgers type deal. I hope I'm wrong but I bet he throws 25 TDs and 4000 yards as 1st year starter. I wish McNabb was still there.

4000 yards isn't exactly the mark of an elite QB anymore in today's passing league, and isn't something to place on a pedastal in an Andy Reid pass-first offense, but I see what you're saying.

I just hate how Kolb makes a few good throws in practice and Cowboys fans are fawning all over him, but are quick to trash our own team.

And I'm glad McNabb is gone. He made more plays with his feet.

The jags are terrible. I wonder if NFL network will harp on the eagles inability to convert TD's in the redzone. They've had to settle for 3 FG's

Is that you, Troy Aikman, fawning all over Kolb and the Eagles again?

I think Kolb will end up being an upgrade over McNabb when all is said and done. Maybe not THIS year, but in the years to come? Sure. McNabb just wasn't very consistent. Flashes of brilliance followed by throwing the ball into the turf.

Philly has very little depth on defense. J'ville second team offense is doing a number on philly's second team
defense.

Watching the ESPN highlights of this game, looks like not much has changed with Vick (2 turnovers).

Exactly. McNabb's mobility did a lot for that offensive line's inability to pass protect. Philly in essence replaced Romo with Bledsoe. The interior of their line is a train wreck. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see Haynesworth have a career day blowing up their center, if he decides to play an entire series.

Kolb will have a decent career, but Philly has got to do something about that interior line before they scare me. They also need to figure out if their Sam can cover a TE and who they plan on lining up at 3rd CB across from Miles in the slot.
