Which of these guys would u pick? I know Robinson is the highly praised of the two but some people think Gibbs is going to be great....

I think both are going to be great, but Bijan is foolproof.

Gibbs' special sauce is his receiving prowness, and that's not a skill set every offense uses. And at 190 pounds, he's never going to be your 3rd and 1 guy, or your 4th quarter grinder guy. I could definitely see some Jason Garrett, Arthur Smith type coach sitting Gibbs for a "Tough Yards" power back and limiting him to 10 carries a week.

OTOH, every offense in the NFL probably power-runs it between the tackles 200 times a season. Even your favorite analytics-driven pass happy team, they're still calling a **** ton of HB dives. So at the worst case, Bijan walks into a day 1 high-volume role in every offense in the league. He can't screw up.

Gibbs is very much closer to Bijan (in my mind) than most people on this message board feel like he is.

I think Gibbs is going to be fantastic and I would have no problem with them taking him at 26.

That’s just me though.

Gibbs and Pollard would be so sick. That’d be a nightmare backfield for defenses to clamp down on. Both guys can take it to the house at any moment.

Imagine a dual backfield with Gibbs and Pollard with Lamb and Cooks on the field? Jeeze.
Been thinking a lot about this the last couple of days...........it's not a reach at all. They could very well see him as a Pollard replacement. In other words, he could the player they are hiding, like Tyler last year.

I like Bijan over Gibbs. I had em closer earlier, but have gapped them a bit now. With that being said, the team 100% has a different ranking of players than I, so I won't really complain about anybody they pick at 26. I may complain for like 15 minutes and then I'll get over it.

Considering what happened to Schultz I could see it happening. They franchise tagged him last year and let him go in free agency this year. This year they franchise tagged Pollard and if they drafted Gibbs and Pollard was too expensive to bring back next year they would already have his replacement.

Just settle for Gibbs.

Maybe the Cowboys are making this rukas about RB so teams pick RBs instead of the player they truly covet.

Could be Mazi, but I can't call it

Gibbs plus Pollard would be better than just Bijan...

Gibbs will be better in the passing game.

Lets not forget Bijan is a longhorn... For whatever reason, players from Texas are notorious for underperforming.

Ditka traded his entire draft for Williams and it didn't get him anywhere.

Now Jerry may be.contemplating the same move?

Just focus on the strong points in the draft and grab the BPA.

We have Tony Pollard. There will be a ton of UDFA guys who can compete at RB.

Work a deal to bring back Shampklin and get Davis on the peanut butter diet.

Achane.would also be tough to deal with...dude can play.

The run game will fall in place if you build the line

Here's what Stephen said about drafting an RB in the 1st round last month...........in a nutshell, they won't with a top10-15 pick but after that. This brings the next question if Bijan is gone, would they pull the trigger on Gibbs at 26?

Yeah, it sounds like the team pretty much views it the same way that I (and a lot of people on here) view it: you can’t do it early but at 26 it is an entirely different story.

If they want Gibbs at 26 and he’s there… I think they’ll just take him. The whole RB thing won’t really factor in to the pick.

Which, as I’ve made clear, I would be fine with for a guy as good as Gibbs.

I don't think Bijan falls to us especially if teams are really as down on the receivers as recent reports have suggested.

I have said numerous times that something about Gibbs just feels right.

My only concern is the depth at RB. Could you get 90% of Gibbs later?

Would a player like O'Cyrus & another RB (say 3rd round) be a better addition to your team than Gibbs & another lineman?
