I liked Theaker as a project but they have Skipper and Kadeem Edwards on the PS already. Even if we have some injuries on the OL we have good depth on the 53 and Theaker wouldn't get any snaps even in that scenario.

Meanwhile Showers has real upside and has only played Safety for a year. He has a real shot at the 53 next year if he continues to improve. And in the scenario where there is a rash of injuries with players on the 53, Showers could be an emergency Safety that plays on all the ST units.

this is great, i ll be sleeping better at night now. Im so proud we ignore the PS for the most part. I mean who needs the PS when we trade picks with conditions. OR just throw around low end picks for players who never pan out but waste time. So much winning going around you cant flame thrower the smile on my face.
