Appears Dallas has already restructured Dak contract to gain $16 million and expected to restucture both Lawrence and Martin soon which will free up a total of $23 million more. Will Dallas use any to sign a high priority free agent, very doubtful.

I see Dallas active like last year in the free agent market where we resign some of our own and take a chance on mid to late free agents looking for a new start.
Randy Gregory DE resign - 3 yr with 2 extra years as voidable - $40 million total
Jayron Kearse S resign - 3 year - $16 million
Cedrick Wilson WR resign - 3 years $20 million
Malik Hooker S - 2 years 10 million
Keana Neal LB - 2 years 4 million
Carlos Watkins DT/DE - 1 year 1 million
Brent Urban DT - 1 year 1 million
Bryan Anger P - 1 year 1 million
Jake McQuade LS - 1 year 1 million
Luke Gifford LB - RFA tender
Francis Bernard - RFA tender
Malik Turner WR - 2 year 3 million

Possibles
Michael Gallup WR - 1 year 2 million w/incentives
Leighton Vander Esch - 2 years 6 million (probably gets better offers elsewhere)

UFA:
O.J. Howard TE - needs a free start somewhere and could be a gem probably a year deal and would be a good fit for Dak at TE, would allow to trade of cut Jarwin and draft a TE

Kwon Alexander LB - seems like a Quinn type guy that can make a difference

Trades:
Would trade Cooper and Brown and maybe Jarwin to Jacksonville for #33 and #65 as that would give Lawrence the experience and pass catching they need for him to be successful also Brown would help in their secondary. Would free up $27 million in cap space for Dallas.

24. Tyler Linderbaum OC Iowa - would solve the OC problem for 10 years, although projected to go in mid teens, believe he will fall just do to the nature of draft with QBs, DEs, WRs, OTs and the fact rarely to OCs go very high.

28. Jordan Davis DT Georgia - with a trade of #33 and #88 to Green Bay getting #28 and Packers 4th round, Dallas takes the guy they need to stop the run and clog the middle. Just the guy Quinn needs to improve the defense.

56. Darian Kinnard LG Kentucky - played mainly OT at Kentucky but better suited to OG in the pros, should resolve the LG situation going forward

65. Channing Tindall ILB Georgia - along with Parsons and Cox, should have best LB corp in the NFL

4th Rd. Jequez Ezzard WR Sam Houston St - dynamic WR but only 5'10", great routes, great return man, much stronger than he looks, great slot WR also

4th Rd. Trenton Thompson S San Diego St - very good FS, plays the field well, covers well, fast and doesn't get fooled easily

5th Rd. Braxton Jones OT Southern Utah - has the potential to take Tyron Smith spot in a year or two and could actually prove to be starter ready sooner

5th Rd. Charlie Kolar TE Iowa St - great routes, great hands, better blocker than any currently Dallas has, has a nice mean streak when on the field

6th Rd. Jeffery Gunter DE Coastal Carolina - can play DE/OLB, relentless motor and great lateral movement keeping QB in the pocket, probably a rotational piece

7th Rd. Zyon McCollum CB Sam Houston St. - will be around late due to small school but quite possibly the best cover corner in college this past year, tall at 6'3/6'4 which Quinn likes, very physical, extremely fast for his size, sleeper that could take the league by storm

Overall an improvement to the lines on both sides of the ball. Gives good depth and some sleeper possibilities to help at WR and the secondary. Believe a draft like this would solve a lot of ills we had in stopping the run and in getting back to a very good running team.

Some good work there. We really need to get the OL fixed to get the offense back on track. In my opinion the decline started when we lost Travis Fredrick. Similar to when they lost Mark Stepnoski and had to bring Donaldson in to replace him. Linderbaum could be the guy to do that, Iowa has produced some good offensive lineman. Gregory might be a little higher than that but if we could get that I'm all for it.

Out of those I like going after OJ Howard, Schultz, Lawrence and Greggory. Still that doesn’t address OL or RB.

Couple of things:

-Neal is going to take a pay cut, when he made 5 million last season? The same for Gallup/Lve.
-Everyone is mocking Linderbaum to the Cowboys, both Giants/Eagles need a Center and have 5 picks in the rd.
-You are not getting 2 quality picks for Cooper, perhaps just 1 2nd rounder at best.

The draft looks good, and resignings seem realistic. However, you weakened us significantly at skill positions. Gallup is injury prone and probably wont be ready to start the season, and Howard isnt a starting caliber TE

I think I woulda went Dean 24 Hill 28

Instead of Kwon would look for a DT or DE

Trading Cooper, Brown and and maybe Jarwin to Jacksonville for their 2nd and 3rd round picks isn't very realistic IMO.
Man I don't know - I think you might be able to get 33 and possible 4th rounder for Cooper alone.

Jacksonville is in need of a semi successful season next year.

You have a potential generational QB - who just had a pretty bad 1st season. Give him some talent to work with and Cooper would be a huge boost to their offense. You don't want to waste another year of Lawrence or cause some type of confidence issues with him. Too many talented QB's have wasted away on talentless teams - I'm sure they don't want this to be the case.

A new coach might want to make a big splash his 1st year - get momentum on your side.

Yeah, you overvalue Brown and Jarwin.

You aren't getting the 33rd and 65th picks for that haul.

please,it is impossible for Tyler Linderbaum to fall below pick 15, dont dream to much
