That's right, he's only looking for big bucks so no way we would bring him in. There are many fine TE's in this year's draft.

When Witten retires..we move Cook to his salary slot.

We need somebody to get open downfield from TE.

Witten is a good blocker but he has lost his speed.

I was wondering the same thing. I can't help but think injuries have caught up to Pettigrew as he never signed on with anyone when Detroit released him.

He only played in 10 games for GB, only started 5, injured for 6. He only caught 30 passes for 377 yards and 1 TD.
I'm not paying a 30 year old TE big money for that. In 8 seasons, he has only 3,888 yards and 17 TDs, an average of less that 500 yards and barely 2 TDs. I'd rather draft a TE.
