Marcus Peters for 2nd and 4th.
Would you want Dallas to give a 2nd and 4th for WR Landry? He’s not a downfield, big play guy, but he’s done great things in Miami without a good QB.

He was s a great WR, but were not gonna pay two guys top tier money especially when both are possession guys

They didn't even give up a first for Peters?! Either there is more than meets the eyes or that GM needs to be shot.

I think there were 2 years remaining on Peters contract.

Giving up both picks and big cap space for the same same player is not a good team building strategy in general.

Having said that, if getting Landry would cause them to cut Dez and save 12.5M then it's worth it.

You're not gonna get many guys around here say they are willing to give up draft picks. Even for guys who have proven success. All those Randy Gregory, Jaylon Smith, and Gavin Escobar types in the second round and God forbid we pass up more pro bowl fourth rounders like Matt Johnson, BW Webb, Damien Wilson. I mean we did get Dak in the 4th, but folks forget that he's not a first rounder. But for every Dak or D Law there is David Atkin and AOA

Landry plays mostly in the slot.

We have Beasley and Switzer for much cheaper.

If we’re going to spend, at least get a vertical guy

Yea, I wouldn't advocate trading for him especially on the tag. We need to be active for trades though, we need position upgrades at safety, dt, wr, lb and tackle depth. We could use an upgrade at guard too, but Cooper would suffice.

Waste of assets. Pick(s) and a lot of money for a position we already have two slot receivers for?
