I rarely post. But if I hear something this ridiculous that I feel strongly about,it inspires me to make a comment.I was born in Washington,D.C. and loved the Cowboys from age 5.Started going to games at a young age and made my first trip to Philly in 1991.
Eight years later I bought one seat in an "obstructed view" section to see the 3-0 Cowboys take on the Eagles. With the Cowboys up 10-0,Michael Irvin caught a pass and went down. And stayed down. The stadium rocked when they realized it was Irvin who wasn't getting up.It roared twice as loudly when the stretcher came out 15 minutes later.I will never forget how furious and helpless I was at that moment-standing next to humans acting like heathens. An entire stadium full of them.
Three years later,I was at another Cowboys-Eagles game in Philly just days after the death of "Bullet" Bob Hayes. The PA announcer asked all fans for a moment of silence.Eagles fans booed instead. That was my last trip to "Philthadelphia".I know there are decent people in that city, but you won't find many in that stadium.
It was actually yesterday-watching espnu
