There isn't much to negotiate on these rookie deals. The CBA outlines the length and the rookie wage scale is based on draft position. None of the contracts in rounds 2-7 are fully guaranteed. So, when you are a 6th round pick and on the fringes of making a team, the last thing you want to do is be a difficult signing. Blue is smart to sign and show he is eager to get to work.
