Any Jeep Wrangler owners? Looking at buying an older model (mid 90's to early 00's) as a "fun car". Not looking to spend a ton, 6k-8k. Just wanted to know if anyone on the zone had one and any years/issues to stay away from. thanks.

Owned Jeeps all my life. Wranglers, Wagoneers, CJ's. Have a Grand Cherokee Laredo as we type. 150,000 miles. Still runs great. Normal maintenance. Nothing more.


Never had a problem with any one of them. They have great re-sale value so your price range for those years may be a little difficult. Not saying it can't be done tho.

I drive a 98' TJ and will probably but another soon. Easy car to work on when things go wrong. You can find instructions on fixing almost anything in online Jeep forums.

Not sure where you are located, but my neighbor is selling one similiar to what you described.

I'm in north central WV.

I could check with him about the year, mileage, .. what he is asking if you want.

It's green with a winch on the front, I do know that.
