The more I think about it the more likely Jerry will hire Deion Sanders to be the next head coach of the Cowboys. Jerry pulled the trigger back in 1995 to bring Deion to the Cowboys and get him off the 49ers roster and that immediately paid off with another Super Bowl plus Sanders has head coaching experience so what is stopping Jerry from making him the head coach?

HUGE difference. Deion was a player. And doesn't mean he would have any where close to that impact as an inexperienced HC.

Prime is not leaving Colorado to go work for Jerral. There is no upside and Sanders likes being BMOC. In Dallas he would be a puppet. Maybe a loud puppet, but a puppet nonetheless

we may all be somewhat infatuated with Deion, but his coaching experience is limited and its limited to college. will it translate to pros? he was a great player, smart, etc. but he can't do it alone, who is going to be his coaching staff. and I don't care who you are, NFL is full of smart coaches. every coach had to pay their dues. its just the way it is, so Deion would be the same, he would have to pay his dues.

with that said, he is one that maybe able to deal with Jerry and be able to convince of what he wants and how things need to get done, which is a needed to work with jerry

Well said.. Garrett here for 13 years wasn't exactly flashy! The Garrett/Phillips hires were the complete opposite of that. I haven't seen anything flashy since he signed Deion 30 years ago. Boring is really an understatement!!

Jerry must walk a fine line between perpetuating the Dallas Cowboys brand, making the season ticket holders and buyers of branded merchandise think he is taking steps to improve the team…Jerry’s DNA is business, which is why he is a good owner and an incompetent GM.

Deion is going to need a bunch of high paid assistant coaches. You think Jerry is going to go for that. Deion is a walk around coach.

I can easily see both sides of this one.

If Jerry can’t get Moore to work cheap, I’d guess it happens.

It’s not about who they want, it’s about money….and that’s ridiculous.

Yep.. We don’t take risks and we have the most boring offseason imaginable.

Just because the brand is glitz and glamour doesn’t mean the team is operated that way.

The team is operated in a way that makes it to where they are consistently mediocre and spoken about which is good for the brand but not winning championships.

Deion thrives on the circus and is motivating and charismatic. I can see it. Will that translate to wins? Who knows

I doubt Sanders would come here.

Sanders was a gret player but whats more he was a student of the game and had often better understanding of how to attack opposing offenses than the DC.

Sanders is very talented as a coach. The guy has deep knowledge of the game and he always was thriving to win. Those are two good reasons to not come to Dallas.
