Jerry Jones on potential 'substantive' move, Super Bowl aspirations and more

Another one who falls for the crap Jerry tells you.
I'm not talking about what he will or will not do, I'm speaking specifically about the fans who say that that reaching out to your competitors/peers is a sign of incompetence or ineptitude don't realize how common of a practice it is, or they just want to just bash him for the sake of bashing him.

Yes, and i didnt think you were talking about what he will or not do.

My point is: What jerry tells you is to paint a picture of how he does thing. Of how great he is, how intelligent, how up to date with everything. That has only one reaseon. To sell a product.

And see, now he created a picture that he reaches out to others, he looks what others do. And he puts it as if he does that because of course its the standard.

But thats all BS. Its Jerry making you feel boy the guy knows about his stuff. And you ate the lure so quick it was still warm and alive.

When it comes to Jerry Jones, I prefer proof to hype. JJ is the king of hype. It’s what his gift is. Football roster management certainly is not.

Hype: Loud advertising or media attention that makes something seem much better or more important than it really is. Or to pump someone up or make them feel very energetic and thrilled about an upcoming moment.

Proof: The level of evidence needed to convince a judge or jury that a fact is real.

Again, when it comes to the Jones’, I will believe it WHEN it happens.

Yes, but i was actually posting about fans latching on to the narrative that if you were competent you would need to reach out to others and doing so shows your ineptitude...which is false.

Now, do I think he talks to other GMs about what they are doing..
Probably, it wouldn't be unreasonable given the level of interactions they have on multiple basis. Does he do anything of value with the Intel he receives, I can't answer that.

Per the article:

In a copycat league that is the NFL, Jones has no issue with taking aspects of his peers' work and applying it to the Cowboys, who he believes are in a similar situation.
"I would look at that and use a parallel and say, 'We've got Dak,'" Jones said. "Okay, where can we be more aggressive in looking at what the Rams have done? Or for that matter looking at what New England has done. I'm unabashed about sitting down and visiting with the competition about how they're doing it and how they're doing it better. I continue to do it."
______________

My God. It's full of stars. Well, this is the first time I have heard or read Jerry Jones using that particular GM strategy.
After listening to the other NFL executives on how they conduct business Jerry thanks them and he goes right back to running the circus. He is full of horse waste.

Jerry is a better gas station hotdog critic than an NFL GM.
