Hey Jerry, glad to hear you're coming around to the idea of doing something to help the players regarding the sun issue. I understand why you didn't want to cover the windows and detract from your beautiful stadium with something so ugly as curtains.

But here's an idea, be cutting edge by installing new glass that is photochromatic (self-tinting). They will still look great, but when the sun hits them they will darken automatically. And be darkest where/when the sun is the brightest.
You will get praised for this idea.

Having a stadium where sun doesn't glare into the faces of both teams ... um ... yeah, that's a novel idea. Fans have only been screaming for this for something like 2 decades now, but welcome aboard, Jerry.

Honestly, sometimes I wish the Cowboys were publicly owned like the Packers, and I've always found it annoying that the league only lets them do it. I know, I know, a publicly owned Cowboys team is a pipe dream, but it's a good one.

The owners are the league. What could the league do? The thirty-one private franchise owners/ownership groups cannot strip the shareholders of their publicly owned franchise on the simple grounds they do not like their atypical ownership arrangement.

Like I say, it's a pipe dream that I wish could be real. For it to have happened, the league would have needed to never have prohibited public ownership, and then it would have been possible for a team to be publicly owned from the get-go. The Packers weren't affected because they were publicly owned before that rule. But you're right. There's no way they could strip any owner of his ownership (nor should they). The league could conceivably get rid of that rule. Then it would be possible for a city or state to buy a team when one comes up for sale. Possible, but very unlikely. I don't root for the Packers, but I do like how they're owned by their fans. That's pretty cool, IMO.

Stubborn is an understatement. I was being sarcastic earlier about him having an epiphany. His sudden 180-degree whiplash, from what he has always said about the windows, for years, to his current statement about possibly making the change, is just another day of him being a donkey's butt. He will not admit being repeatedly wrong about the obvious course of action or he will downplay being wrong all this time.

The last game I saw was in Texas Stadium the last Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl season +30 years ago.
