Jerry needed to be more aggressive

I think Jerry and Cap Boy Stephen could of done a lot more to make this season even better. One- Jerry should of dropped his personal drama with Cooper. Or at least replaced him with another receiver near his talent. Now we have T.Y. and I'll give Jerry credit for this move. But I feel it could of been done sooner. On defense we should of had those two defensive linemen the Eagles picked up. Jerry and company love to stay in house. It's not one defensive tackle we got I wouldn't trade for the Eagles two pickups. They were there for the pickings and Jerry and Cap Boy said "no". How much better would the defense be -especially against the run if Jerry and Cap Boy even grabbed one of them"? Another worry outside of Jerry I have is our coaching staff facing a quarterback they haven't played against. My memory may be bad at times now:facepalm: but it seems to me every time we face a backup they usually look like All Stars against our defense. The next worry I have is in game management by McCarthy and Moore. Especially if the game is close. It's bad enough worrying about how your team will play in the game. But then you also have to worry about the coaches. Hope I'm wrong but again? I've seen these guys in action all year. As far as Dak goes, he just needs to stop trying to throw in tight windows on the run. Moore needs to run the ball if we are below our 20 yard line. Most of Dak's int's come in these situations. But I hope Dallas beat them worse then they did Minnesota.
36 to 20 Cowboys!!!!! GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!:hammer:

This team has surprised me after the offseason moves they made - and didn't make. Having said that, I will always view the Cooper trade as a horrendous deal for Dallas. I will always regard the cut of La'el Collins as a dumb move too. Had they not been so hasty cutting Collins I think they would have gotten something in return for him. Even if they only got a 4th round pick it is draft capital that may mean moving up in the 3rd to get the player they want.

Since this team refuses to be aggressive in free agency, they should be more aggressive in the draft moving up to take players they could use.

I actually think the more aggressive Jerry and his kid would get, the worse we would probably be.

Between the two of them they couldn’t come close to matching all the moves a guy like Roseman made.

They aren’t capable. And the committee thing is a detriment as well, but they’ve gotten lucky and have the right players to keep them in contention and fans paying attention.

How it’s supposed to be good business to build a contender only to leave yourself just short every year I don’t understand.

Jerry needs to........not be the GM of the Dallas Cowboys.

He has categorically stated that he will never resign as the team's GM. It then follows, logically, that there is only one condition under which the Cowboys would have a different GM. That is the direction necessary for the Cowboys ever to regain consistent playoff participation. This is based entirely on Jerry Jones's own words and the realization that the Cowboys must have a GM with the credentials required commitment.

Jerry Jones does not have the abilities, credentials, commitment, or competitive drive to ever build a consistent winner. We may still get lucky and have an awesome season, but it could never be maintained.

Like he aggressively pursued Joey Galloway and Roy Williams? Yeah, that usually works out fine.....

Dak Prescott is still the QB, you can stack the entire roster, we are only going as far as that mental midget can take us.

only thing i didn’t like about this FO was getting rid of Cooper and wilson. i believe we lost about 1400 yards between both these two. why mess with that?

other than that i liked the hankins , TY, ObJ (not the drama) but the overall pursuit of FA’s available

Getting rid of Coop for a bag of Doritos because he wouldnt get the vaccine (Jerry said on his radio show he was not a team player) was just monumentally stupid considering that Gallop was coming back from ACL and was not going to be anywhere near 100%.

So that left Lamb as the only true stud WR, hence way Jacksonville had three defenders on him and single coverage on Gallup the gimp and hands of stone Brown.

Not just in football, but in life in general, when you let your personal feelings affect the decisions you make, the results are usually not good.

They won the SB last year. They've played well for several years. That's what the money went to

You literally quoted his post. Lol
Not literally, and it was directed at the "could of", "should of" posts I see far too often.

I get it. The contractions "could've, should've, and would've" sound like they end with "of", but I assume everyone here took English classes all throughout their school years. This is one of my biggest pet peeves, and I try not to say anything, but it's become epidemic.
