Cowboys owner Jerry Jones when asked on @1053thefan about Bill Belichick potentially coaching in college next year and not the NFL: "I don't know that I've seen a coach available, if you will, with his stature. He's got a lot of gas left in his tank. A lot. He's on the game. He's savvy. He knows the personnel all over the league. There's no learning curve there. "It doesn't surprise me that everything there is out here that has a coach concept associated with that he's not being considered. Bill Belichick could run a major company very effectively. He just has that leadership ability, as well as in this case, no one knows more football or how to execute it and use that to win a ball game than Bill Belichick."

Well if Jerry thinks so that's good enough for me.

Then why wasn’t fat Mike fired and BB hired after GB Jerry?

Great. Look forward to Bill B, McDaniel, and Belichich Jr on defense.

And also expect a terrible draft and maybe like 7 wins.

I actually don't hate Belichick as an option. But if he's Jerry's first choice, then I think I pretty much have to. And we need someone who can adapt to the MODERN game.

LOL.

Shut up Jerry. Just shut up. If you are really interested in him, don't go out there publicly sucking his balls. Its like when you gush about draft players and surprise, a team then grabs a guy you gushed about right before you pick.

This dude doesn't understand the value of an unexpressed thought.

Stated very eloquently.
