Dear Zoners----Lets be honest....if after watching worst loss in playoff history....and Jerry being apparently so old and risk-averse he has no courage to put

fresh new thinking blood to coach?...but keeps same ol same ol and says maybe we get lucky....we already got so lucky this year....the detroit game is pure luck

win and Sheagles melting down is pure luck to get #2 seed.....most embarrassing loss of all time post season and does not even register with Jerry....no place for HOMER

only critics....can anyone be honest and tell me what with this team is there to "build on"??????....please....anyone know???

Jerry is probably risk averse, but there's certainly a logic to bringing back a coach who won 12 games three years in a row.

Jerry's too afraid of bottoming out to take the risks to try to get over the top. Relevancy is priority one. He can't stomach going 5-11/12 for three years again if "all in" fails.

As long as his team is a contender to make the playoffs that's good enough because he thinks he might just get lucky.

He’s on record saying this himself.

Jerry's problem is Jerry. Belichick casts a huge shadow and he knew he'd be standing in it. He needs it to be all about him which is why we got here in the first place and have done nothing for 30 years.

I wouldn't have a problem with bringing Mike back if there wasn't a coach/coaches available who could change the culture of locker room into focusing on football only. Jerry runs a brand and makes millions but that trickles down to the players. Michael Strahan said when he went to Jimmy Johnson's induction it didn't feel like a football game it felt was like a Broadway performance and it should be about playing football. Jerry is the face of the team and the Cowboys are a reflection of his glitz and glamour.

There was nothing entertaining about Green Bay dog walking the Cowboys.

It was boring and people probably tuned out after a while.

If he cared about an entertaining product he would have a better team then he has. Nothing entertaining about a team that chokes in the playoffs and can’t stop the run.

With playoff success it's just an off-Broadway production...

Rave reviews maybe but in the it doesn't really matter...

ESPN needs to do a pole.

worst GMs in NFL history maybe that would get his attention.

His product on the field hasn’t been very entertaining in the playoffs unless you’re looking for a few laughs.

First off, that is called being competitive. Complain about something else.

Next, how many wins and what were the records for Landry his first six seasons?

Besides Jerry, the Jones family and the inner circle are also complicit in the current mess. Very sad.

There certainly is but you first have to identify why this whole team was not prepared along with all of the coaches for a 7th seed team. Also identify what must be done to fix the weaknesses and flaws present. And most importantly ACT upon their discoveries. Solari needs ran out of town and a good up and coming oline coach with vision needs to be his replacement.
