All the problems the Cowboys have is just an extension of Jerry being the decision maker.



You think McCarthy is an uninspiring HC that should have been shown the door after the GB disaster? Jerry don't care. I expect an extension any day now.

You think we should have done more in the off-season to try and improve the roster? Jerry doesn't. He likes his guys.

You think Dak is a untalented bum QB that will forever be a loser? Jerry think he's worthy of the highest paid player ever.

You think the defense lets us down? Quinn had to VOLUNTARILY leave. Then Jerry hires one of his old pals that is just glad to get another coaching job.

You think we needed to improve the O-Line? We let a 1st team All-Pro go and have 2 rookies starting instead.

You think we needed some RB help? Jerry brought his ole pal Zeke back to be the starter.

Yep, and probably make zimmer the head coach.......because he is a jerry boy....like zeke. thats why he brought him back,,,,,Lets see whom else of jerry boys can he bring back to help this team deeper in the abyss....

Having an amateur instead of a professional GM puts this team at such a competitive disadvantage that they will never have any real success.

Playing in the NFCE has allowed these losers to remain relevant in their mediocrity. It's allowed Jerry to do the bare minimum and still win just enough to keep people like Rambo deluded into thinking they're a real team.

As much of a critic of Dak that I've been , I've consistently blamed Jerry more than him because he NEVER acquired a real replacement option at 2 contracts and 2 franchises tag situations

He's a putz......as our rabbinical brothers and sisters would say.

He just has no idea how to run/manage/build a team.

He has to differ to his coaches when it comes to the vision of how this team needs to be built, which is stupid because the coaches he hires either have never been good or used to be good years ago.

Green Bay fans couldnt wait to get rid of McCarthy ultimately because they felt helpless in the playoffs with him leading the way.


This whole program needs an overhaul. Best we can hope for is Beli (an actual football mind)

total agreement....but dont forget Stephen who is the money hoarder....we dont even make it look like semi attempt to improve our weaknesses....let alone Jerry's total lie of "going all in"

we look like C R A P....and i put up a PLAT guarantee cause i hate saints.....they beat snot out of us

He won't extend McCarthy unless this team has huge success in the playoffs. See, McCarthy is still coaching for one reason and one reason alone - he's under contract. That's it. Jerry made a comment awhile ago about how "dead money" to coaches is an issue which told you all you needed to know - Jerry is loathe (cheap) to have to correct a coaching mistake because it will cost him money.

I have zero doubts that if McCarthy's contract had actually expired after the 2023 season instead of the 2024 season, we would have had a new coach by now. But McCarthy has one more year and cheap Jerry wasn't about to pay him millions to sit on the couch this year.

Don't be fooled. Jerry and his son have become uber cheap. They do not care about winning a SB, they don't care about the fanbase. They care about their bottom line and what they do is spend just enough money to keep the stars that put fans in the stands and win some games in the regular season. That's it. At the end of the day, making a SB run is just a cherry on top of this. Did they sell out? Did they make oodles of money? Those are the real levels of success Jerry focuses on.

To be fair, MM was the guy that changed the offense for Dak. The real problem was extending Dak on MMs last year, as Jerry was betting on MM taking Dak to the “next level” per his words.

Guy had absolutely no need to rush to extend Dak in this circumstance because if MM failed, does one think Dak can handle a completely new offense?

We had a chance to dump Mike and Dak, trade CD for a bunch of picks and reset. We chose more of the same. Schedule is stacked, not so sure we make the playoffs this year.
