Jersey number changes

I kind of liked Camden Brown # 6 . Wonder why he ditched it ?
It's Eze's number, so Brown had no claim to it. They both wore it in the preseason.

I'm not a fan of defensive ends in such numbers, but I do like that our starting OLBs have close numbers (6 for Eze, 7 for Gary) ... and we've got 40 for Miller and 41 for Houston, our designated pass rushers. The rebel is Malachi Lawrence with 57.

So Miller got his 40...Was hoping Luepke would go with 44 or 48....30 for a FB just doesn't vibe.

Official rosters are still listing Mingo as number 81, so he either hasn't picked a new number yet, or they simply misprinted Hudson as 81 instead of 18.

Mistakes do happen. The official website still has Nate Thomas on the roster, for instance.
Patrik has Mingo switching to 18.

Lawrence 57 and Wheat 59, also Land 58

Yeah, I just posted in the other thread on Miller's number that here are all the changes:

  • 11 - Alijah Clark, S
  • 18 - Jonathan Mingo, WR
  • 23 - Ameer Speed, CB
  • 25 - Israel Abanikanda, RB
  • 30 - Hunter Luepke, FB
  • 31 - Emari Demercado, RB
  • 40 - Von Miller, OLB
  • 47 - Mitch Van Vooren, TE
  • 59 - Tyrus Wheat, OLB
  • 64 - Wanya Morris, OT
  • 77 - Broderick Jones, OT
  • 80 - Camden Brown, WR
  • 81 - Jordan Hudson, WR
  • 90 - Jonathan Bullard, DT
  • 93 - Elijah Garcia, DT

I'm going to print the roster before kickoff against the Giants.

No way I'm going to try and remember all this!!!

Good for Lupke. Von wanted that #40 badly. Hunter received a % of Miller’s chicken company. The % was not disclosed in the article I read, but that’s the gift that keeps on giving.

I thought Eze was wearing a different # didn’t realize he was 6 . 80 seems like an ordinary WR # for Brown # 6 always popped out when he was grabbing TD’s and bombs .

Only eligible receiver numbers left for him are 11, 18, and 84, was 1 in college at Ole Miss so maybe 11 is an option for him? Not sure.
If your guess is accurate, he's going to live up to the same expectations as Michael Parsons.

I hate this. Eze was 41. This number changing has to stop.
