That is a good question. Maybe it's Jimmy's policy not to attend or had something personal to attend to. I do know why he wasn't there and I won't criticize him for not attending until I know the real reason he wasn't there. JMO but he should have been there.

Jimmy was on sirius last week and he stated it was the start of lobster season in south florida. He mentioned that Troy was at his house last year during lobster season and realizes how important it is. True story.
That being said, Jimmy said him and Troy remain close, he called him unselfish and the consummate team player and very worthy of induction to the HOF.
