Last year's video was great.

This has got to be one of the best little clips on TV.

I saw that too, that was funny and sweet at the same time.

I loved the one from last year as well.

Cracks me up how "you sneaky mom!!" has parlayed it into a blog.

The first little girl's reaction when she says "what"........is easily the greatest one.

That and the cute kid at the end who says "Next year we can share it".

Not something that I would do to my kids.

Agreed. Some of the reactions are funny and priceless but I could not do that to my kids.

I'm probably in the minority here but the kids that cried uncontrollably and some that threw tantrums were annoying and the last thing they need is tons of sugar! The cutest kids were the ones that didn't seem to mind. Sorry for the rant :D

The ones that didn't seem to mind are the very ones that should never have had a parent do that to them.

Innocent little sweathearts that now know lying and deception, ... from their parents.

And they did this because Jimmy Kimmel suggested it. Morons.

I'm sure they'll live.

Pretty lousy, really.
Make a spectacle of your kid crying to get on television.

And as we all know, that is our only obligation to our children, to make sure we keep them alive.

Good point....I still don't think it's too funny and the ones that really lost it surely don't need all that sugar ;)

Yeah, I am a big time jokester, but those kids are way too young to pull that on.

This is the full video from the cute little girl in the video. She is adorable.

The little girl at the end is adorable.

This is why you don't raise selfish brats. The 2 sisters at the breakfast table were terrible. Far too old to behave that way.

I love that the last girls Mom talked to her like an adult. I never do babytalk, that makes babies, stay babies... when they are just young people, treat them as such.

That said, a little practical joke on a kid is not a terrible thing to do. And for something like candy especially. There are a ton of other things for kids to worry about and appreciate. The little kid with the Boston Red Sox shirt, was more concerned about his Mom being happy than the candy. That's a good kid.

That little rug rat throwing stuff and attacking Mom...doesn't deserve or need candy for his behavior.

/rant.

It was pretty funny. Thicken up your skins folks. This overly PC crap is not the real world. Real world people tease each other, if it's not damaging an ego or a mind...it's quite alright to pull a practical joke with anyone. It's not even mean.

Good post....I personally don't care that the parents did it I just thought it wasn't funny and thought it was more annoying than anything else.
