I do not want to think about putting Davis at tackle. And there is not one good tackle left to sign. And not likely one we can get in the draft that could start as a rookie. Do we really want to throw McQ out there and depend on him being good right off?

Agree.......We need Colombo signed mucho pronto......that's CBanish for today.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Columbo, Guorde were my top priorities this year. Just so happened they were our team.

I would feel SO excited about this team if we re-signed Columbo. If we re-sign Columbo, we're so open for the draft. We could take CB, FS, DL, OLB, ILB, any position. It'd be obvious we would go for a FS, or some sort of solution, but think about how much better our draft would be, in terms of player talent, if we choose the BPA at the positions we needed - and we only need ONE starter out of a draft?

Columbo is next but I wouldn't mind McQ at RT. I think he's ready. BP was really high on him last yr.. Signing Columbo makes McQ and Proctor QUALITY depth.. I think Columbo gets down today also..

just email him./

It just didn't make much sense to sign our center and a guard for bigtime contracts and then still have to sign a RT. Now seeing the contracts we signed the other two, a RT will want much more. We should have signed Columbo first.

Come on Jerruh, Columbo without 'turnstyle' Rivera next to him will be Probowl......

Columbo.....Colombo
Whitten.....Witten
Irving.....Irvin
Emmit.....Emmitt
Stauback.....Staubach

I could go on but you get the point.

Relax... My goodness.... Columbo will probably resign and we're looking at Davis as a replacement for Rivera should he never play again in a Cowboys uni which, in all likelihood, is the case right now.

Davis will do very well at the guard position under the tutalege of Sparano. Bookmark this now so you can come back to it later.

I am not really worried about Davis at guard as long as he is in DECENT shape. I hope the contract has some very tight clauses about weight in it.

Fabini is a backup, short time guy. He is not good enough for a whole season.
Or he would have been starting.

Fabini was a BP guy and may not even return.

what he said:bow:

I don't see Jerry Jones signing Colombo. I see the Cowboys either drafting a guard or Cory Proctor as the other option... I think they'll go with Davis as the RT. :puke:

Agreed, we need to focus our efforts on signing Colombo so that we will have more flexibility in who we decide to pick on draft day, get it done!

I thought we put to rest the fat stupidity. Davis isn't overweight, he takes plays off, that's the problem that needs to be fixed.
