Great tribute but lets be honest, EA has been putting out the same rehashed junk for years. Not a big fan of them having an exclusive rights agreement with the NFL.

I like the hamburgers people cook for me, but if they put their picture on the wrapper, I wouldn't consider it gracing the wrapper. Do people value madden enough that they care about this? I wonder if they will fondly stare at the cover before playing the game or hang it up on the wall and think about madden before going to bed.

I liked a Tony pollard picture that was taken last year or the year before that someone posted in the other thread, but it would not be gracing the cover if they put it on the box

As long as it is a good game it could have a blank cover

I haven't played Madden in ages.

However, I love John Madden. He was my favorite announcer. With him announcing, it was like having a good friend with you. He was a likable guy. There will never be another Madden.

I'm not sure if I really have a favorite. I do remember Madden 2004 though where Vick was incredibly fast around the field. You could have a heyday playing as the Falcons. lol

Also, about time Madden gets to grace the cover of his game again.
