Can't say enough about this guy, he deserves a thread of his own tonight. Classy person and can do it all and has handled his problems the right way. He is a poster boy in so many GOOD ways. I feel lucky that my team has him.

The Yankees were so afraid of him the just kept walking him to get to Vlad.

That is an insult to Vlad and Vlad made them pay for it! :lmao2:

Easily my favorite player in MLB history not named Ken Griffey Jr.

Hamilton is awesome.

He is the ****** man! I just rewatched clips of the homerun derby. Man, I remember watching that live back then and I forgot how sick all that was.

And all it took was Edinson Volquez who is horrible!

Thank you Josh Hamilton!

I'm happy the Rangers made the trade, but saying Volquez is horrible isn't exactly true. The guy was coming off of Tommy John surgery and he wasn't even expected to pitch at all this year. The guy has the stuff to be a dominate pitcher, he just needs to get healthy. Everyone in baseball is still saying that this was one of the most even one-for-one trades they have ever seen. Both guys will be superstars before it's all said and done. Plus Volquez is almost three years younger than Josh. Getting Hamilton was a GREAT trade for the Rangers, but it was far from being lopsided.
