Hey guys,

What do you think about this player?

He's rising up the boards.

6-3 215 lbs

4.53 forty. Ran as low as a 4.47. 113 TDs and only 15 INTs in his college career. 43 TDs and 1 INT last season.

Career 68% Comp percentage. Threw for just under 10 thousand yards.

If he was not rising and was there with our last pick or as a FA, maybe. If Tony went down this year, he would not help much. Count on us keeping one QB that can step in if needed for 3-4 games and then maybe another to groom as a backup.

I'd really like to get him, or a QB of his calibur. We need to get a guy in quick that we can develop to be Tony's back-up, and I think we need to use a mid-round pick on a guy. You can never have too many QBs. Best case scenerio you trade a guy like Johnson to start some place else.

If he's still somehow on the board when we pick in round 4 I'd jump all over him!
Has great pocket presense too, can run, and as you can tell, all those T.D. passes and ONE INT? Are you kidding me? I don't care if you're playing my high school team just on a tipped pass by the D-line you'd expect to have more than one just by FLUKE, so that tells me he knows where he's going with the ball, accurate, and doesn't make MENTAL MISTAKES or FORCE BALLS, all very good Q.B. characteristics, and he can RUN!

To me he's the PERFECT Q.B. to pick to groom behind Romo!
I wouldn't take him in round 3, but only cause I think it can be used on a hiugher position of need, but a late 4th round pick? If he somehow makes it that far, which I don't think he will, I'd jump all over it!

He's a 3rd-4th round prospect, he ain't lasting till the 7th or F/A!

We wouldn't be drafting him to help us THIS YEAR!

EXACTLY, you need to groom another Q.B. behind Brad Johnson, and he's a good guy to sit and learn for awhile since he has all the physical tools you look for, so why not take him?

There was some buzz about him last year as well. He has the skills and talent. He's definitely intriguing, but he's a project for sure. He looks like he hasn't hit puberty yet....wouldn't surprise me to see him fill out that scrawny frame pretty good with a year or two of training. I think he's going to go too early for us to be looking in the QB direction, but some team might get real lucky with this one.

I like Dixon a lot but I also like this prospect. He would fit our offense simply because he has many of the same skill sets Romo has. Wouldn't have to change the offense for him, if he had to play. Good chance he won't last but if he were available, I too would like to see us consider him. He's got some skills.

I think that by the time he got any chance to see the field for any extended period, he'd be 28 years old and at the end of his rookie contract. It'd be a wasted pick to take a QB as high as we'd have to take him.

Unreal, how many times do I have to say it?
Q.B.'s GET INJURED in the NFL and you NEED backup Q.B.'s!!!!!!!!!

So you're saying he won't see the field till he's 28?
How much ( I WILL BE ANY AMOUNT) of money or sig bets do you want to bet that Romo does NOT play every game for the next 5 years without getting injured, knock on wood!

It wouldn't be a wasted pick at all. With the poor quality of QB play the past couple of seasons, if you can find a back-up who other teams want as a starter you can turn it into a solid investment. You can never have too much talent at the position. Plus, if we're talking round 4 (or 3, not sure where he's going) what other position is such a dire need that we can't take a shot on this kid?
