Hey, getting rid of Mike Nolan was pure genius. You know Bowlen cant be happy. Prolly would have fired him already if not for the pending lock out.

Remind me again why the lockout is the big blockade to firing a coach.

If you have a coach you are going to fire at the end of year, and you do fire him at the end of the year, you are looking for a coach in February.

If you fire the coach now and let someone take over as a sign of displeasure and unwillingness to suffer garbage results, you're still looking for a coach in February.

The only possible other outcome is the interim comes out and gets the team to play well enough to earn a shot at being the HC from that point forward. Either way, I do not see a negative here.

There is no use in hanging on to dead weight. Fire the guy and promote someone from within. It's pretty simple, IMO.

That was pretty awful yesterday by the Broncos.

With that being said, I think McDaniels has a nice future as a head coach. Obviously he has been up and down in his first two years but I don't think that team has much talent. Know you can say that is partly to his Personnel moves. So I don't think I want him making player decisions for me.

I think in time he is going to figure it out. He may have been a little raw for that spot and maybe should have had a NFL lifer or two with him to guide him.

BTW since that 6-0 start last year, the Broncos are 4-13. Welcome to Denver Andrew Luck.

Can we agree that Zorn inherited Gibbs II team that got Zorn to 6-2? Then the real Zorn team came to light, haha. I'd have to say samething is happening for the Broncos. He got Shanahans team that took McDaniels to 6-0 and then McDaniels culture finally came to light.

So... with Orton running the Denver system pretty well, and Denver trading up for Tebow (after trading down) to get back into the 1st round, you have them taking another 1st round QB in back to back years.

Yeah. That makes sense.

Well maybe Andrew Luck can keep Darren McFadden from rushing for an Auburn like number of yards.
