Juanyeh Thomas went from undrafted to clawing away on the practice squad, to likely being a starter

Looking forward to him making plays, I would not be surprised if he is a starter week 1.

Where is he expected to start? Hooker is the starting FS and Wilson the starting SS, right? I assume when we go to nickel that Bell would be one of the nickel linebackers.

I like Thomas but I don't see him starting over Wilson, Bell or Hooker. But it's going to be a heavy rotational deal anyway. He will play a ton of snaps and receive plenty of opportunities!

Exactly! It’s drivel! And yet this fan base continues to use tweets for factual information!

Yeah he may not start the year over Hooker but by midseason he’ll be starting. Hooker looked bad last season and I don’t expect improvement.

Juanyeh's undrafted path, determination to make the roster, hard work and rapid rise on the team reminds me of Drew Pearson.

"Professional career. Drew Pearson's name as a member of the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor at AT&T Stadium. In 1973, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys and made the team as a third-team wide receiver because of his special teams play."

I don't mind at all if Hooker gets beaten out. That's the way it should be if Thomas outplays him, he deserves the snaps. And Hooker is not a bad player, just not so good that he can't be upgraded. I wish we had more position battles where the starter might not be the best man by default.

It all depends on his growth this year. You're probably right, but he may come on too strong to sit.
