Have not read any recent posts about this guy. If the 49ers let hm go, how can you not go after him? I hear about trying to put our defense over the top... this guy can do it. Perfect 3-4 OLB opposite WAre- can also play 4-3 and if i remember, even played safety against us one year. the guy is a stud.

He is going to cost big bucks!! I would like to have him, but do we really need him over say a FA tackle or free safety?

SF might not re-sign him.

He is alot better than this year, he doesn't look like he has healed from the achilles just yet. Didn't have the usual burst.

He's going to come at a high price. But he would give us another pass-rushing dimension, and great all around play.

My biggest problem with our 3-4 this year:
You are supposed to be able to disguise the rush in the 3-4 by hiding your 4th rusher. That doesn't work too well when it's really only Ware who was a threat.

He's worth the cost, but SF is not going to let him go so it's not worth discussing. I'll believe he's a UFA when I see it.
