Incredible... He's been averaging over 4 ypc, he's secretly having a pretty dang good year.

And can anyone not like Marion Barber comin off the bench. He's a nice complement back, real quick burst.

i dont think there is any real secret about JJ having a good year

See what Julius can do with some decent run blocking. He was hitting those holes very hard and quickly, gotta love the way our run game is progressing.

Only 13 more regular season games to go for Julius.

Need I say more?

I'm just kinda wondering why we keep pulling JJ when we get inside the fifteen?

I know that Barber's a good back inside the 20, but JJ is too. I'm not complaining....I like what I've seen....It's just that I'd like to see JJ get an opportunity to finish what he starts.

too bad our o-line is gonna suck this year and we didn't address it at all in the draft:rolleyes:

It's GREAT to see JJ having a good start to the season! Let's just keep it our secret for now and hope he (and the O-line) can keep it up throughout the season.

I like exactly what we are doing with the two backs. Any change in that is a fantasy football mentality.

Shows some power also.

I loved the way Julius bounced it out on several runs and nobody could catch him for a long time once he did that. I know it was just Tennessee, but this game is hopefully a confidence builder for next week. One game at a time.

I've been saying for months now that our OL "problem" has been overblown. So far, so good, but it's going to take a few more weeks before I feel like declaring myself a football genius.

It was addressed in free agency though. Kyle Kosier is looking really good right now and Colombo outplayed Fabini who out played Pettitti. I personally like Pittdawg, but I like the Cowboys much more. If Pettitti couldn't make this team, that is a good sign. That means the tackle position is better than last year. Dallas will need eventual replacements though. I would like to see a tackle and guard drafted this year so they can sit and learn the system. When Adams and Rivera are no longer effective, the replacements will already be on the team and the team won't have to go through growing pains with a young lineman. I don't know about you, but if Dallas takes a linebacker, I will be poed.

As good as Julius has been, I do think the O-Line has been very solid. This is a gritty group that is getting it done right now. I hope it continues. And my thoughts about Julius are documented. I think he's underappreciated by many around Dallas.
