Sundays game was over the moment Wade overruled the O's desire to correctly try and stay on the drive at 4th and 1 at the 30.

I looked over at my wife said, the Boys are not going to win today. Next weekend is free to make plans.

We had made to 2 drives and gotten to within a yard to try and score first after a Viking 3 and out and there was no aggression, no attitude, no playing to win. It was play it cautious and let it happen.

It deflated the Cowboys and showed the Vikings all they needed to see to go for the kill.

We then come back out and are exposed defensively because the plan was inexplicably not the same as the previous 4-6 weeks. Why the hell change the basics of what you were doing so successfully?

Everyone got better this season, but this gameplan and preparation showed the coaching staff has some nig things to develop still.

Wade and Garrett have some more changes to make before July. We know everyone can execute, now develop an aggressive attitude of playing to win on both sides of the ball.

Maybe it was meant to be because there is no way it should have went down that way. None. So, maybe it had to for some reason. Lets hope that reason, is to be the first team to win the Super Bowl in its home Stadium!

The most idiotic thing you can do is judge a team's mentality on one play or decision. Big deal, so they went for a field goal.

Would scoring a TD on that drive have stopped Ray Edwards from having his way with Columbo? Would a play that had no bearing being in the 1st quarter with the game still 0-0 have made Sensabaugh turn around and look for the ball on a bomb to Rice? Probably not.

I can't believe people keep bringing up our decision to not go for it on 4th and 1...like it would have made a frickin difference anyways..did you guys turn the game off after we missed the FG? Because apparently none of you guys saw what happened after that.

It is about as dumb as those eagle fans who think they would have had a chance if that Romo INT didn't get overturned.

You gave up that fast? It was a 0-0 game at the time and you gave up?

We can all look back at Wade's decision there and criticize. I too thought he should have gone for it at the time but you can't blame him for wanting to put points on the board in what was anticipated to be a tight game. Our short yardage offense has struggled lately as well, remember? If Wade had gone for it and not gotten it then he would have been criticized for not taking the field goal. Hindsight is 20/20 but I suppose this comes with the territory of being an NFL head coach.

at this point of the game 1st qtr 0-0 we were moving ball at will and defense already served a 3 and out there was no reason for Wade to believe that his D wouldnt contain like they have been the last 4 games...he was trying to get points on the board ........i didnt agree with the call either , but I dont think it was the big deal everyone is making it to be

It did change the momentum of the game. Let's say we get the 4th and 1 and go on to score a TD or at worse continue the drive for a few more plays and make a closer FG or at the very worst continue the drive and miss a closer FG. We take more time off the clock and possibly lead 7-0, 3-0. The Vikings aren't starting in great field position and maybe a break or two and they have to punt or we get a turnover or something. You can't sit here and say that that decision wouldn't have made a difference. We have been on a roll when scoring first and the Vikings would have played a different game at that point being behind. Maybe they don't take chances downfield etc. I can't believe YOU don't think that one play or decision like that in a scoreless game doesn't make some kind of a difference. I don't know how long you have been watching football or sports in general but IT DOES.

As for that almost INT in the Eagle again that would have changed the way that game is played. I am not saying we don't go on to win but if the Eagles intercept that and then go in to score a TD or even just get a FG the doubt of winning a playoff game and the here we go again thoughts definitely start creeping up in players minds. Of course I am glad none of this really happened but to say that INT wouldn't have meant anything is silly. It's kind of like a snowball effect, things start happening and then players start to lose focus and who knows what happens. I have seen it happen so many times in a game in all sports. Like I said I am glad that didn't really happen.

Personally i thought that was a huge mistake and it looked like our team got deflated after that missed Fg.

It's like telling the Offense they are not good enough to get one yard. It's 40+ yards and missing would give them great field position. Not to mention we have not had a stable kicking situation since Folk decided to kick himself out of Dallas.

Bad call..Like Young said. The more field goals you kick the closer you are to losing.

It was a total wuss call, the type of call a HC makes that has no balls and is playing scared.

Maybe I could understand the call if our kicker was freaking Adam Vinettari, but when you have Suisham on your team.......you dont even think about letting him kick it from almost 50.

Dumb arse decision Wade, you have got to grow a pair in the offseason. With that being said, a missed FG is not the differece in a 34-3 arse whooping. We lost the game because our o-line was dominated by their d-line.

Wade has won me over this season. But yes that was a wussy call. Couldnt of said it better myself.

.

I agree with this and to discount it like it was no big deal shows that some don't understand the flow of the game at all.

Just imagine had we went for it and not got it, he'd been ripped for being an idiot because he didnt take the points in a playoff game on the road.

You people act like Minnesota was just going to let us get the first down with no opposition.

I didn't like Wade's decision to attempt the field goal either, but I don't believe for a moment that with the miss, the Cowboys players somehow lost their will to win.

Plays like that can and do (allot of times) change the face of the game.
You make that one yard and just maybe the O line gains some confidence.

With a reliable kicker maybe you go for points. I don't think we have a reliable kicker, not one to pin a playoff game on.
