I watched all 5 of them for the first time over the last few days. I thought the first one (dirty harry) was brilliant and by far the best. even though I loved them all I thought as the series went on the movies went down in quality somewhat. Of course I am a HUGE eastwood fan so I pretty much love anything hes in.

I think the only two I remember seeing was Sudden Impact (on TV) and I saw The Dead Pool at the theater.

That was indeed an awesome movie.

I always wanted a downstairs girlfriend like Sunny, but never found her.

Clint Eastwood is a masterful film actor and director. I like pretty much anything he's in as well.

Greatest two lines are 1) after blowing up Hal Holbrook "a mans got to know his limitations." 2) after getting Tyne Dailey as a partner "personnel is for idiots":laugh1:

Agreed. He even made a few spaghetti westerns seem watchable.

He's tremendous..he is probably a better director than he is an actor and he's an iconic actor. They can't remake the "Dirty Harry" movies and have them be any good. Clint stamped himself all over that part for eternity.

The part in the "Dirty Harry" movie where he's chasing the killer who has the leg injury and Clint walks up to him and grinds his foot into the injury..hey I'm a girl and even I think that was cool.

I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking "did he fire six shots or only five?" Now to tell you the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow your head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself a question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

Clint has to be close to mid 70's...I think he said his last movie really was his last movie acting wise. He must have a bazillion dollars..he has a youngish wife (I think she's about 40 years younger than he is)...I hope he continues to direct.

Yeah hes 80 soon to be 81 and I also think I remember him saying the most recent one was going to be his last (gran torino i believe). Which is a shame to think we will never have another movie starring him. Even in gran torino I thought his acting was outstanding.

Wow 80? I didn't think he was that old. I'll check out that Gran Torino movie. Thanks for the info.
