I like long walks on the beach, dining at upscale restau...Oh wait, that's my ex, not me.

I'm 60 years old.

I'm a truck driver by trade, but an artist by nature.

My favorite band changes with my mood, but I'm always up for (pre-sober) Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Zeppelin, any band featuring Ronnie James Dio on vocals, or Alice In Chains. I also like some country - especially Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, and Chris Stapleton.

I have a low tolerance for annoying people, and I find most people annoying, especially those who think they're smart, but aren't - and those who think they're funny, but aren't - and those who think they're interesting but aren't. (Honestly, most people fit into that category.)
There are times when I can be rude and curt to those people, but also times when I'm aware that I may hurt their feelings, and that's not something I want to do, even when they annoy me, so I usually frame it as a joke.

I live in the Northeast, which I don't particularly like, but my whole family lives within a 45 minute drive, and I do like that.

67.

Native Texan currently residing in Louisiana (hey, these folks here needed help!)

Retired, last from an Estimator/Project Manager for a construction company, prior to that 26 years as an insurance claims adjuster, financial consultant trainee (fired, didn't "sell enough life insurance lol".

Cowboys fan since 1968.

3 kids one grandson.

When I was 8 years old, I got to meet Lorne Greene and Dan Blocker (Ben and Hoss Cartright on Bonanza tv shoe for the young'uns on here), have a photo with them.

We love a lot of the same rock bands, esp Alice In Chains, Aerosmith, and the mighty Zeppelin!

I share your interest in WW2 although quite sure are not as knowledgeable as thee on the subject. Find it fascinating about the difference in Allied and Axis Armor for example.

Live in WV. But have lived in various areas of Texas as a youth and when I was in the Army.
Loved Ft Sam Houston and San Antonio...Fort Bliss in El Paso, not so much.

I enjoy playing guitar as well. Have a BC Rich Warlock, Dean Razorback, Schecter C1 Classic, Jackson Dinky with reverse head stock, Gibson SG Supreme and my newest is a Gibson Les Paul modern figured in Cobalt Blue finish.

Pretty much like the music others listed and am a huge Dio fan was well weather that was with Sabbath, Rainbow or on his solo. I have never heard his stuff with Elf. I also am a big Danzig fan. Love Misfits, have tons of misfits shirts. I like them with Danzig and the other singers. I also loved Danzig when he went solo. Did not care for the Samhain band he did in between.

Love tons of Thrash and metal but I can also listen to KMFDM for a long time.

51 years old and I've lived in the West Texas area my whole life. One son who just graduated college and I've been married to the same lucky chick for 26 years. Big animal fan and we've got 5 assorted rescues in our family.

I've been a PGA shop/teaching professional, worked in the telecom industry, currently own an antique store, and am a seasonal hunting guide and outfitter.

Cowboys fan since birth. Love the outdoors and do a lot of hunting, fishing, backpacking, camping, and rafting all over the Western US especially in Idaho. Avid reader and love music with Bob Marley, Townes Van Zandt, John Lee Hooker, Doc Watson, Zeppelin, and Waylon Jennings being some of my favorites. Love to cook and I've done everything from competition BBQ, cast iron/chuck wagon cooking, to running a teppanyaki grill. Bourbon connoisseur.

45, err I mean 25 ;) , years old.

I live in Boise, Idaho, and it's an amazing place to call home. You get all the urban amenities you could want, while also having mountains, camping, rafting, hunting, and so much more right in your backyard. It's a fantastic city, though it’s changing rapidly. Californians discovered Boise in the '90s, and the growth has been nonstop ever since. On the bright side, they’ve brought some exciting additions with them. In-N-Out and Top Golf opened here recently, and Raising Cane’s is next (can’t wait for that). Unfortunately, they’ve also brought something less desirable: traffic.

I’ve spent almost my entire career in the telecom industry. For 20 years, I worked in installations before transitioning to I.T. at a local chip manufacturing plant called Micron. Then, in 2019, I received an offer to join the City of Boise’s I.T. team, and I jumped at the opportunity. Best decision ever. My team is incredible, the benefits are outstanding, and I genuinely love what I do. My plan is to stick with it all the way to retirement.

I’m married and we are at 14 years and counting, together for 20. We don’t have children together, but I do have one daughter from a previous relationship. She’s 25 now (yeah, I started early lol), and she’s an amazing person. I’m also a huge dog lover. We have three: two Huskies and a Mini-Aussie who might actually be a Toy-Aussie. He’s 13, but people still think he’s a puppy after he gets a haircut. They’re all fantastic dogs.

I have a ton of interests. Probably too many, honestly. Music is a big one. I love it all, no prejudice against any genre. I even started getting into vinyl a couple of years ago. I enjoy video games and absolutely love cars. I’ve owned two sports cars in my day and savored every second of them. I let them go to explore other things, but I’m planning on picking up the obligatory mid-life crisis Corvette in the next couple of years. I’m also into outdoor fun. I have jet skis for summer days on the water and a camper for quiet escapes into the mountains during the summer.

I was born into a Cowboys family. I really latched onto the team in the ’90s for obvious reasons and have been a fan ever since, though sometimes I question why. Haha! It’s too late now; my heart’s stuck with them, meddling owner and all. I just hope to see them in another Super Bowl someday, but time feels like it’s ticking away faster every year. This forum board keeps me grounded and entertained. Sharing the common frustrations and joys with everyone here really helps.

Thanks for reading my book.

I've been a Corvette fan since I was a kid. Actually learned to drive standard in a brand new '79, when I was 15. The new Stingray might be the most beautiful machine I've ever seen. Wish I could afford one, along with the insurance and a garage to park it in.
