Keeping Dak Off Injured Reserve?

Has anyone figured out the strategi reasoning in keeping Dak off of IR? It’s clear he was going to be off at least 3 weeks. Did it have anything to do with allowing him to participate with the team in the interim?

That move probably cost us Ridgeway. Was it worth it?

You can get a Ridgeway in every off-season with a late draft pick or on the cheap in free agency. That said, Dak should have gone on IR. The initial prognosis was 6-8 weeks, so it was foolish to think he would return within 4.

Keeping Houston for an extra week cost Ridgeway more than anything.

Jones boys probably didn't think we win many games and hoped Dak can rush back.

It had to do with Dak being able to stay in the loop and practice .

I agree it had everything to do with keeping Dak at practice and in the loop but we would up losing our 5th rd draft pick(Ridgeway). Funny thing, we traded WR Cooper for that pick, right ?
