I don't want this to come off the way I know it's going to, but I hate that we gave up on KB as early as we did. He had the nagging injuries all the time while he was here, but you could just tell if he got more play time he was going to be a factor. I wish he had gotten a chance to start here instead of just playing the nickel LB.

He has 5 sacks and an INT for SD so far this year. I always just loved how athletic he was, and it's only worse because he's only 27 now.

Here's hoping Sean Lee and/or Jason Williams can eventually make me forget about him. :laugh2:

We didn't give up on Burnett. We wanted to resign him, but he left because he wanted to be a starter. Something that wasn't going to happen here in Dallas.

If I remember correctly we offered him the same amount of money that SD did.

We offered him the same amount of money as San Diego, after leaving him on the bench like we do a lot of our young talent.

IE jones, choice, austin e.t.c

Burnett was on the bench because he was always fighting nagging injuries. They tried to limit his injuries by using him as a nickle guy.

Jones was on the bench because he was always fighting nagging injuries.

Choice was on the bench because he was behind Barber and Jones.

Austin was on the bench because he was very raw when he started in the NFL and played behind some good receivers. He really wasn't ready until last year.

You really want to bring up Ray Shermans opinion over yours? Really? Because Ray Sherman has an undrafted player doing what some first rounders cant. Really this is what your angst is? I think its time to take my proffered 5 dollars and get a clue.

Who would you rather start Felix or Choice? Whos the odd man out in this rotation?

That's my point, we let him leave because we never gave him a chance to be a starter here, even though he was more talented than a lot of the guys we started in front of him.

I'm not even saying the team made a huge mistake or anything, because he was a china doll while he was here and they probably thought he's never going to stay healthy enough to be a 16 game starter, it's just disappointing to see a playmaker having success somewhere else while we struggle with no playmaking ILBs.

Dude was a walking cast. He had more injuries than Curly in a Stooge-fest.

Talent or not if he can't stay healthy it doesn't matter who he plays for
