Yes, the Keyshawn Johnson era has ended in Cowboys Valley. But the Keyshawn Johnson legacy lives on – for the weekend, at least.

The former Cowboys receiver, now a Carolina Panther, had already committed to moving his annual golf tournament from Los Angeles to Dallas before he switched NFL addresses.

Johnson still has a home here. So Thursday's invitation-only reception at Dave & Buster's and Friday's Keyshawn Johnson Golf Classic at Tour 18 in Flower Mound won't be a huge hassle. It benefits several charities, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas.

Among the NFL types expected there: Cowboys assistant head coach Tony Sparano, assistant coach Todd Haley, newly signed safety Marcus Coleman, cornerback Aaron Glenn and pro footballers-turned-analysts Marcus Allen, Sterling Sharpe and Michael Irvin.
