Keyshawn May Not Be Back In 2006?

We'll know soon about Key, as it plays out at VR. In my mind, I've tried to fancy Key and T.O. on the same roster, and for the life of me, with their pasts, I just cant see the two of them co-existing without utter chaos and ruin, not to mention the strain on BPs nervous system, on the same team. I just cant see it, but that's just me and I guess stranger things have happened in sports.
I just see them keeping/paying Keyshawn and calling it a day.

Well in my mind I will believe TO is coming to the Cowboys when it's announced so my view does not consider TO here at all.

That is from my personal thoughts.

They're a website that is run by "Roy Philpott" who is a "Cowboys Insider"

I don't know, maybe it's just me but I've never seen him break any news before.

It is terrible.

The breaking news is no faster or thorough than anyone could get if they simply paid attention.

We get better in the PC recaps from Inman.

Damn, Keyshawn had 70 catches last year and 71 this year. Why get rid of him?

He's inconsistent.

Nail on head!!

I have access to the ranch report and just read the article. I want to copy and paste if for ya'll but it's not working. My take is the guy who wrote it (Mike Fisher) doesn't care for Key too much. It's very opinionated with only a couple of quotes. Such as when Key was asked about TO he replied "we don't need no muthafreaking receiver" and that supposedly has rubbed some folk in the decision making process the wrong way (I don't believe it personally). Another alleged quote was that a source was supposedly "adamant" that Key would not be asked back next season while another source says "if you subtract Keyshawn's relationships (BP) from the equation letting him go makes sense."

I know Key has a big mouth but I'm sorry, he's doing exactly what we signed him to do. Catch 3rd downs for 1st downs and block. If you were looking for anything else you were sadly misguided. TO is a playmaker but IMO Key is consistent in what we need him to do. I hope he doesn't leave because we have no receiver (possession type) on the roster to replace him. I don't foresee TO in a Boyz uniform with Bill signing a 2 year extension.

One thing about Key's cocksure attitude is you can only do that for as long as you can produce at an elite level. I don't think players look at him as a leader at all. I think they feed off his emotion a little, but I'm gonna guess the author is right when he says a lot of players say, "That's Keyshawn being Keyshawn." Who does Bledsoe look for most often in the clutch? Terry Glenn. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Key gone. I hope the Cowboys do something to address their receiving corps. Thank you Key for all you've done but if it means grabbing a better player, than good luck on your next gig.

Bill Parcells on October 12th says all we need to know about Key!

"I've told you about this kid," Parcells said. "He'll do anything you want him to do. Anything. That's why I don't think he's a selfish player. I never have. You know I'm a fan of his. That's some of the reason why. I've asked him to crack back on Cornelius Bennett in a game, three or four, five times. He doesn't even blink. Just as long as you give him the reps, he needs to see it. What do you want me to do here? That's what he wants to know. But I've played him all over, different spots for him."

Parcells has also played Johnson as a defensive back. He has recorded an interception in a two-minute drill situation.
