Any other classic battles that would describe what we witnessed Sunday night?

I thought of this MMA contest. Conor is a great fighter (relatively speaking) but more a product of hype, dropping weight to beat up on smaller fighters and promoting his brand, trash-talking his way to become a fan favorite. But his weakness (the ground game) was there for all to see, but few of his opponents could take advantage of it until ... Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was a well-rounded fighter in both stand-up and the ground game and who was clearly better than Conor. And Khabib simply dominated Conor, punishing him for trash-talking his family. Conor wouldn't have beaten him if they fought 10 times.

Similarly, this current version of the Cowboys could play the 49ers 10x (we're already at three), and we wouldn't beat them.

What we witnessed was a beat-down of epic proportions. They took the will and the life out of the Cowboys. They said we can do ANY and EVERYTHING we want to do with you and to you and there's NOTHING you can do about it.
