With Vandy going 5 for 12 and missing today being ill. And Sui and fred going 1 for 8 today I think its becoming clear its more than just kickers.
I highly doubt we just have kicking THAT bad. Maybe its time for BP to look for a new holder, or at least try it.
I was the holder all 4 years in high school. ( I started wr and corner 3 years 5A schools, and now play semi-pro) anyways. We had the same kicker for 3 of the 4 years and he had no problem with me holding. Then senior year we had a new kicker come from the soccer team and he couldnt make a field goal when i held. He'd miss time and time again. Eventually at practice I asked him to switch with me and show me exactly how he liked the ball. The next game he went 3 for 3 with a 48 yarder.
If the kickers are consistantly missing, I'd start to think it lies in the holders hands. Ask any kicker, the ball not being placed just right drastically effects the kick and their approach.
