King has strange timing to write this on a weekend that Dallas had a road game. It is not the most stand up way of eating crow, but I guess he has admitted to some extent of being wrong.

Factoid of the Week That May Interest Only Me

First, a quote.

"I kind of laugh when I hear the video board isn't going to be a big factor. It's going to get peppered all season.''
-- Former Tennessee punter A.J. Trapasso after nailing the 165-foot-wide video board hanging 90 feet above the field at the new Dallas stadium in an August preseason game.

The Cowboys have played five games since -- one in the preseason and four in the regular season. Total punts in the five games: 48. Punts that have peppered the videoboard: zero.

You can now say you told us so, Jerry Jones.

Every time P. King opens his mouth he reminds me how good Paul Zimmerman was at this. Peter's the Homer Simpson of professional football writers, perpetually distracted by the donuts. Dr Z could, at least, stop with the half paragraph stream of consciousness stuff and get to the point.

Well look at these TV hating clowns now. Trapasso isn't even in the league, Fisher is 2-6, and Peter King doesn't even know the meaning of the word factoid.

but-but-but the video board it's uh... too low and uh...it uh....will definitely be raised when the committee uh....I mean when we yeah well....but what about Romo's December record the last 2 years though? :rake:

Peter King is a punt. His infatuation with this is a symbolic narcissism.

Elsewhere in that article, there's a quote from Miles about how he lost that TD catch in the lights for a second. Wow.

I saw that. Jerry should raise a fuss about it and demand a rule change to take out the lights at the Linc.

The worst thing about King is his name dropping "I just got off the cellphone with..." antics. I half expected to read:

KING: "I just got off my cellphone with the video board and it said it is pleased to see that punters aren't intentionally trying to hit it during regular season games. It also espoused concerns that the Cowboys would wilt in December."

Dude, Mike Silver over at Yahoo is the worst at this. Apparently every player in the league is dying to text him after a big game because half of his articles consist of what some player texted him.

Did you catch the Lunch Break on Monday? Josh Ellis was joking that Philly should put some curtains on those lights. :laugh2:

am i the only one who read that as he was holding his hands up and saying he was wrong? because thats what i got from "You can now say you told us so, Jerry Jones."
don't understand why people are complaining about this
