Thought he was out 3-4 weeks after Green Bay or Philly game. Proctor is terrible.

IRVING, Texas - Starting left guard Kyle Kosier is expected to miss two-to-three more weeks after re-injuring his right foot near the end of Sunday's win in Green Bay.

Swing lineman Cory Procter, who filled in for Kosier during his two-week absence to start the season, will again move into the starting job.

Kosier suffered a hairline fracture in the fourth quarter of the third preseason game when a Texans defensive lineman drove him back on a bull rush. He required surgery and was expected to miss 4-6 weeks until returning to practice last week after less than a month off. Cowboys coach Wade Phillips was mum on the injury Monday.

"I think it's similar to the last time," Phillips said. "So he'll be out for a little while."

Montrae Holland, a guard the Cowboys traded for before the season, was active for the first time Sunday. Though Phillips had previously said he expected Holland to push Procter for playing time, the starting job reverts to Procter for now. Coaches were pleased with his performance against Cleveland and Philadelphia.

"Cory will be the guy," Phillips said. "Montrae has been coming along and he's a veteran player. Because Kyle had been previously injured, we wanted to have an extra offensive lineman (active Sunday). We've been keeping seven, we kept eight for this game. We thought Montrae was ready to play if we needed him." The Cowboys did not allow a sack in the first two games, but Romo was taken down three times Sunday.
