These guys are synchronizing quite well and could get better with the return of Smith.

Peters was a nice addition.

Biadasz doesn’t seem like he’s on skates like the last two years. Much better at the point of attack.

Zack does his thing. No penalties. No sacks allowed.

Steele just might be one of better RT’s in the league. Hopefully pass blocking catches up to his run prowess.

Tyler just might turn into one of their better late first round picks.

They deserve a ton of credit here.

Would love to hear comments about Peters

Overall they are playing good. I expect to see a better OL after the bye. Especially with Tyron coming back soon.

Having Pollard instead of Zeke helped yesterday. Better vision, quickness and speed at RB all make the OL look better.

Fully agree. They played very well as a unit yesterday.

Biadasz seems to be improving. Same with Steele.

Tyler was a raw and thrown right into the fire. It’s amazing how well he has held up.

Even McGovern hasn’t been terrible.

This line certainly has impressed. I don't have the stats in front of me but I wouldn't be surprised if they, as a group, are top 5 in the league

Before the season began, if I had a 1-10 scale of the offensive line’s success this year, with 1 being worst case scenario and 10 best… At this point, I’d probably say we are close to a 10. What I love the most though is that not a single one of these starters has hit their ceiling except for Martin. They’re all young. If they can stay healthy (McGovern injured twice now!)… talk about a decade of cohesion. But with Peters on the left and Martin on the right, we have some great mentors too. There shouldn’t be any excuses now for an ineffective run game.

Speaking of OL……

It seems they are rotating Peters in with McG at LG.

Have they said anything about the long term plan there? Do they want Peters to be the starter but isn’t in game shape yet?

What if Tyron returns? Good problem but can’t ask him to play LG.

Draft a guard, move on from Tyron, move on from Peters/McG rotations. Can’t keep supporting the “line shuffle.” It needs the most cohesion of any unit on that field.

Yep I agree with the cohesion thing 100%.

Last year we replaced Steele and Williams with Collins and McGovern, which looked great on paper at the time, then proceeded to become much worse as a unit.

Tyron may be different though. I can’t see him as a backup if he is healthy and ready to go. Next year? Different story.

I have serious doubts about him playing this year, that was probably a Jerry hype special.

At any rate Tyler is getting LT reps as a raw rookie and we are winning at the same time. Gotta be happy about that.

But yep, my real question would be what you pointed out….do you disrupt that cohesiveness to insert Tyron, especially after what happened last year?

Tell Tyron to hold a clipboard on the sideline when he is cleared. Tyler Smith all the way now!
