He's led the University of Indiana to a 10-0 record and are currently playing Ohio State. So far, he looks accurate, and I like what I see from him. His older brother is QB Nathan Rourke of the BC Lions (Yes, he's Canadian). However, he seems more accurate than his brother. I think he may be a good choice to take mid round and let sit a year or two behind Dak. If nothing else, he could make for a good backup QB.

maybe one of our fifth rd picks

the fact is that very few QBs taken after the second rd ever amount to much; but maybe a good backup

He’s a plus anticipation thrower and super accurate.

I'd rather take Dart because of his arm but Rourke will have a future in the NFL.

Sure, but taking him in say round 5 or 6 isn't a bad idea. If nothing else, we get a backup. Plus, Dak's an anticipation thrower too, which makes Rourke fit well here as a backup.

Its definitely not great. He will struggle to make certain throws and be limited as a pro. I think he is lower end #2 good #3

That's why I'm saying that he might make a decent backup. Nothing wrong with a career as a backup, and we are probably losing Rush and Lance after the season. So, why not use a late round pick on Rourke?

Personally I wouldnt because I hate drafting backups. Id rather just sign a veteran

I can see that, and it depends where he is available. I mean, if he's available on the 7th round, I'd definitely take a flier on him. For a 6th? Why not. Besides, we will probably need a vet anyway, and then taking Rourke means we have someone for the 3rd spot.

I like him a lot. It will be interesting where he goes.

He could go anywhere from the 2nd to the 4th.
