Mickey was right, the draft isn’t just about immediate needs. A prime example was Spencer. We tagged him because we failed to have a viable replacement
In a perfect world you let solid players walk and have another guy already on the roster to replace him
It’s not always possible. Edge rusher and QB’s are really hard to get and sometimes you just can’t have a guy waiting. But most positions it’s really possible to do

Nice article here covering some defensive prospects.
Youmans did say, the 2023 draft is not just for now but also for the future.
I post this, as when Mickey said it. Some came out with the typical Mickey displeasure, so what happens when someone else says it?

Anyway some nice write-ups on the prospects.
I still don't see the lack of Respect that many have towards Mazi . . . He is stout and with the Pass Rushers we have He will clean up anything in the middle

I feel His traits would suit this team very very well

I keep seeing Emmanuel Forbes and also keep hearing about his slight build. Is he a risk due to tackling ability? Would be awful if he and Diggs make up part of our last line of defense in terms of tackling. Or is he a good tackler despite the slight frame?
