Laid up.. Torn ACL surgery

After tearing my ACL about a year ago, I finally went in to have the surgery done yesterday. They also repaired a torn meniscus.

I'm not going to lie. I have tears in my eyes from the pain I've felt the last few hours have been rough.

The good news is I can't even get out of bed to pee, so I'm taking this opportunity to quit smoking. I'm really excited about being a Non smoker.

Im pretty drugged up now so I'm taking a nap

I had the same surgery done about 4 years ago now. I actually didn't mind being laid up for awhile :laugh2: . But then, I had an emergency appendectomy 5 days after my ACL surgery, and went through a pulmonary edema, but thats another story!

Anyways, have fun doing the rehab!!

My appendix ruptured, which then got infected requiring a second surgery. I couldn't even imagine going through that while recovering from knee-surgery.
