It seems like every year when a player holds out or misses preseason practice time, he gets banged up. It's not like camp is what it used to be, but it appears to still get them in better condition to avoid injury than working out on their own.

Agreed. He was also not part of the offseason conditioning program either. Lamb did a nice job staying in shape on his own, but those sessions with the team exist for a reason.

You have to respect him for this. The season looked like it was toast and he easily could have coasted since he got his contract, but he's out there giving it up for the team. Watching him play, I disagree with those saying he's fine packing it in. He's just an emotional receiver is all.

Sounds like he is perfectly fine packing it in ... he just doesn't want to appear that way.
He's had plenty of chance to have packed it in and he hasn't. We have plenty that have....
