Last bear in Switzerland shot

They need to find a balance somehow with this stuff.

In Idaho, the US Govt, against the state of Idaho's recommendation, added some Canadian Grey Wolves into the mix and said all would be fine when there were about 100 total.

Well, now there are > 1000 and as many as 2000 and they eat about 24 elk a year each for food and kill another 50-75 each for sport. wow!
The wolves look like bears they are so huge and they run in packs as large as 25+!

I'll try to post some photos. Could not believe it until I saw it.
 
It should be pointed out that there haven't been native brown bears in Switzerland in over 100 years. This was a bear that had wondered in from Italy. Bears, especially if they aren't a member of an endangered species, are destroyed fairly routinely when they get too chummy with people.
