Jerry Jones, going against his own ego, is begrudgingly putting Jimmy Johnson into the Cowboys Ring of Honor.
With his memory, speak and age all piling up on Jerry, the man has to put the legendary Cowboys coach into the ROH
so to try to keep/maintain or hold onto his own legacy.

Riding a 2 game losing streak and with the induction ceremony, the Cowboys need to complete their perfect record at home for the 2023 season. With the win ( or loss ), the Cowboys will likely cement the 5th seed and having playoff(s) games all on the road. With the recent TWO DECADES trend, this could very well be Coach Mike McCarthy's last home game as Dallas coach. If he doesn't get this team to a NFC Conference game, can Jerry Jones continue selling more
pyrite ( aka: fools gold) to the starving Cowboys fan base that every season buy more and more of what Jerry sells?
Telling fans, this team has all the talent to get to a Superbowl only to end the same it has for 27 years. Can Jerry "start over" with another new head coach --at his age-- which then will take a few more years for the new coach to implement his coaching scheme, his coaching staff and his players. Or does Jerry seeing his own window shrinking, that he has to stick with McCarthy and ride him out until Jerry joins Al Davis ?

What if we get the #2 seed?
If #5 seed, what if SF and Philly get knocked off. Then Detroit as well as the #3 seed.

It can happen.

Every year we have a what the heck kind of game at home. Like when we blew out a great Colts team etc

This will be one of those we blow them out

I will agree. Think the Cowboys play pissed off and win by double digits. The fans will be loud with Jimmy Johnson ceremony. Built up anger by the defense and the offense puts up 30+

How many games were lost by Tom Landry his last two seasons? He was a great Coach no matter what...I was still a fan of the Cowboys, and still loved Tom as their coach.

For the record, this team by Jerry Jones is still very good. They need to have the first game changing play in all games against any good team. I don't cry about the path of other teams, as you do.

Good one now go play with your blocks in the corner.
Seems to be more your style, little BOY. Learn real football and not just more pompous butt routines.:hammer::popcorn:

You have no truth in what you state, BUT your own doubts.

( Laughing ) Who said the Cowboys were a bad team? ((( Waiting )))) Yes, it is a "good" team, NOT a SuperBowl team. And if they were a "superbowl" team, they would have gotten to at least a NFC Finals in 20 years. But since you "stopped reading years ago", you would know that but your fandom to not see it has you blinded as Jerry himself. And if you were really a fan, you would know that for two decades, this team isn't the same team after Thanksgiving. Until this franchise can PROVE and NOT say, they are a Superbowl caliber team, it is but TALK. Prove it and not say it. And when the Superbowl is being played, make sure you go into hiding and pop your head out and rip all those that told you AGAIN AND AGAIN, this was going to happen.

How do you know he’s begrudgingly doing it? Maybe he’s realizing his own mortality and wants to do the right thing before he can’t.

Could have just typed “I don’t like Jerry Jones” and left it at that.
