Last Play of the Game

it wouldnt be the stupidest thing ive heard but that would be almost impossible ......now in hindsight we shoulda tried it, if only if only we had 2 trys at that same play huh?

nice idea, but the guy isn't even capable of kicking off, so I'm sure there was no thought of anyone trying a fg...would have been nice if the defense had held them when they had them down on the 2...our 3 timeouts would have returned the ball to us at least 10-15 yards better and at least 40 seconds.

But they played great all game, more like the Dallas Cowboys.

I'm still wondering why they could rape Owens on the Hail Mary but Newman was flagged for breathing on someone too heavily.

Yes the drop kick is still legal and yes I thought there might have been a PI on that play as well.

I was thinking the same thing......:(

He was mugged.....

That would have been one heck of a kick but I don't think he has the leg.

Besides, would Romo have dropped the snap again.

:)

Come on, laugh with me.

What about that rule with fair catching punts? Isn't the kicker allowed to set it up and the defense doesn't even come on the field?

Madden always mentions that rule. Since it went out of bounds (I don't remember if Newman gave a fair catch sign), is that different?

I'm laughing through the tears, I promise.

I jumped off my chair on that play. I envisioned another FG attempt. I just stood there waiting for a flag that never came.

I couldn't believe that no flag ever came but then I remembered a Seattle WR false starting and not drawing a flag. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Typically the subjective penalties, the holds, the PIs... show a bias but I honestly can't ever remember an obvious false start not drawing a flag. Henry even pointed to him.
