Latest Harris Poll: Dallas #1

Interesting until I saw the Pats at number two. I'm not ruling them out but I think they may miss the playoffs. And half the responders don't follow the NFL.

I think they're correct though.

Let's see the poll after the SB.....means nothing right now. Like stuffing the ballot box for the homecoming queen.

It's amazing that the Giants didn't get any bump from winning the Super Bowl. Look at most of the other teams ... the more successful they are, the higher they are in the Harris poll (compared to where they are in other seasons).

Uhhh...nevermind. I won't take the oppurtunity to make that sophmoric joke, even though reading this made me laugh out loud at the thought of it.

I loved the TABLE 3/FAVORITE NFL TEAM/"What are your two favorite National Football League teams?" section. For the years listed, Dallas was never ranked less than number four. On the other hand, Washington's numbers hovered between number six and 16. Now where's that idiotic article claiming that the Washington Commanders should be labeled as America's Team instead of the Dallas Cowboys..?

Oops. Forgot. I printed that story out and lined my birdcage with that story. Funny, that bird never pooped so much in his life. What exactly have I been feeding that bird...

well, that makes sense.

Anyone else find it funny that the Lions were the only team not to have at least one of the 2135 responders say they are winning the Superbowl.:laugh1:

Hell even the Rams had at least one die-hard fan.

The one number not mentioned I would like to know is what percentage of responders choose the Cowboys as their favorite team.

Polls don't get you touchdowns or mend injuries

No they don't, but they sure do annoy the miserable envious Cowboy haters, don't they?:D

Notice the poll was conducted between Sep 15-22nd.

It's an annual poll. They conduct it at the beginning of every season.

It's not like people's favorite teams are going to change from week to week during the season.

Well, at least not for most of us.
