Ht.: 6-1 Wt.: 235
School: Washington

Hometown: Sacramento
Key statistic: Led Huskies in total tackles (94), solo hits (72), and tackles for loss (15.5) as a senior.
College highlights: Started all 12 games at inside linebacker as a senior and was named to All-Pac 10 second team. Showed knack for producing turnovers with three forced fumbles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Finished third in Pac 10 in tackles and second in tackles for loss. Played in all 12 games with 11 starts as junior.
Upside: Played big in big games. Was all over the field in making 12 tackles, including two for a loss, with a forced fumble and a pickoff in 16-13 upset of then third-ranked Southern California last season. Can be a factor on special teams. Displayed leadership as team captain.
Downside: After not running the 40-yard dash at the combine, speed was disappointing when he failed to crack 4.6 in the 40 during his Pro Day. That will be a red flag for many teams. Fast linebackers are a must in today's game.
Projected round: Fifth
Coach's quote: "He's very bright. He can play all three of the linebacker positions. He was on three different special teams for us this year, so he's got a lot of versatility to his game that can allow him to go play at that level and not be a one-dimensional guy." —Washington coach Steve Sarkisian
Draft expert: "He played inside as a senior but fits best on the weak side in a 4-3 front where he is free to run to the ball. He will be a instant special-teams contributor." —Nolan Nawrocki, Pro Football Weekly draft analyst
